I think I'm getting hooked on Facebook!

That's is one of my favorite socks she has in her mouth that I just bought 3 weeks ago. Another one destroyed!!! That dog is a little terror. But I love her so...

Geez, I just realized that I have been on Facebook for about 2 hours. Time passes so quickly once you get started. One of my friend's back in high school added me as her friend but her first name is different and I am confused! ? ! I knew her name was Roni but her name is now Carol. So now I am confused. And I am afraid to write to her and ask if this is Roni?? How weird that would sound. Anyways, I am just juggling my thoughts around and probly making things more complicated than they really are.
I don't have much to post tonight, only it was a typical Monday, couldn't wait to go home and relax in my own comfort zone. And eat cheese doodles. And rest my back/shoulder/neck. My friend gave me some samples of phenocane for pain from the health food store. I hope it works.

Hope everyone had a nice day today. The Lord bless you and keep you, may the Lord's face shine upon you.

Wise Men Still Seek Him

Last week when I went with friends snow shoeing at the Isaac Walton Inn, I had to get a picture of these really cool snow sculptures. I just thought that was a cool thing to see and a great statement! Didn't have much to post on my blog tonight so I thought I would post this.

Oh well I kind of did have something else to reminiss about from yesterday. Before leaving for work, I proceeded to warm up my vehicle in our garage. When I came out after 5-7 minutes or so I discovered that I had left the garage door closed. I freaked! I thought I was going to die from carbon monixide poisoning. So I drove to work and called Greg to tell him just incase I die, that's what happened. Although I tend to over react (ya think), it is WISE to make sure you don't expose yourself to any more carbon monixide that you have to. Do you know that everyday we are exposed to that invisible odorless gas? I spoke to one of the OES (office of emergency services) employee next door to our department and he gave me an informative booklet on carbon monixide. I have a new routine now. When I go out in the garage to warm up my car, I am backing it out onto the driveway. That is my exciting blog for the night.

God bless and be careful. LOL ...

Just had to post a pretty sunset picture from our cruise after that MRI experience!! :-)
See the picture of the above MRI machine? Doesn't it look cold and gloomy?? Well yesterday I had the chance to experience that lovely procedure. I had 2 MRI's in a row. What fun. NOT. It was the weirdest experience. After being injected in my shoulder with a contrast dye, which felt like a really heavy ache like charlie horse, they put me in the above machine for 40 minutes. I felt like I was the star in a building renovation. It was very noisy, constant clanging and banging. It was cold, dark and LOUD! They give you headphones and a choice of music to listen to to drown out the noise. I chose Christian music. Although the noise drowned out alot of the music, God was faithful and gave me a few of my favorite songs that played. I kind of got emotional in there thinking, God knew how nervous I was that he knew my favorite songs to comfort me!! I never considered myself claustrophobic but I still closed my eyes through the entire procedure just so I wouldn't become it! 40 minutes in there seemed like it was never going to end. Then they rolled me out, gave me a minute to go to the bathroom only to come back and go through it again for my neck, another 40 minutes. When I came out and saw light again and knew it was over, it was an awesome moment! It was finally over!!! Yay! I find out the results on Friday. I give God the praise because I really felt prayers being lifted up for me through it all as I asked people to pray. It doesn't take much for me to work myself up. I did my best to focus on God while listening to his words in the lyrics. It is so true that God's word gives you peace. I also prayed for people while I was in there. It is amazing though how through magnets, it shows all of your insides. I can't wait to see the results on Friday and hope and pray it is not anything serious and that I don't need surgery OR another MRI again!

Snowshoeing at Isaac Walton Inn Today

What a beautiful day today! "Our group" went to Isaac Walton Inn snowshoeing and cross country skiing. We also took on a free horse sleigh ride. It looked like it was going to be a cloudy gray day but Dori, our weather prayer warrior prayed for nice weahter and God came through once again! He parted the clouds to reveal a beautiful blue sky and sunshine! We had a fantastic day. There's nothing like being outdoors in beautiful God's country! I faced another fear today by walking across a snow covered swing bridge. We all took turns except for one who chickened out. I'll give you a clue:
It turned out to be a beautiful sunny day! We ended our day at Los Caperales for dinner in Columbia Falls.

Getting back in touch with my Blog

Okay, so I haven't blogged in awhile and I really miss it. It was a way for me to unwind after my day and I discovered that I really enjoy writing. I joined facebook a few weeks ago but it's just not the same as blogging. In fact some of it is stupid. I did get in touch with one of my high school buddies though which was cool.
Some escapades from the last time I blogged was
1. Greg and I went on a cruise to the Bahamas and Grand Turks Island last November with my brother. It was a birthday present for me back in June. We had an awesome time! One pic above is Greg at Grand Turk and my brother and his girlfriend with the bahama lady vendor, she was cool.

2.We had a really nice Christmas, nice and quiet at home with just the fam. We decided to see Marley and Me that night and while the movie was cute, the ending was so sad. She dies and to me it was way to graphic. I came home and loved on my dog who looked exactly and reminded me so much of Marley. To me dogs to me are little angel companions that God puts in your life to bring you joy and unconditional love. No matter what you do your dog adores you and never gets tired of you. They love you to pieces with no strings attached and you just can't help but love them back. Okay this blog is going wishy washy. I guess I am in a wishy washy mood. God bless whoever may read this. Although probly no one will :-( .... how do you get people to read your blog??
