Happy Birthday Greg

Today is Greg's birthday. I won't tell you his age, only a clue that he is eligible for a senior discount. He wanted to go to Famous Daves for dinner tonight, but when we got there it was packed. So we went to the Mongolian Grill. I asked the waitress if since he was __ __ could he get a senior discount? She said he can have a choice of cheesecake or Khans Cake. He was going to pass, but me the kind loving wife chimed in "Oh no, you have to at least try the Khan's cake" I heard it was to die for. IT was AWESOME! ! Holy Cow, it was AWESOME! You would have thought it was my birthday, huh.
Anyway, he enjoyed the dinner and cake. In a few minutes we'll break out the Rosauer's Birthday cake I got him. I pray Greg makes it double the years he is today. If you can guess Greg's birthday, you can come over and have a piece of his cake. ,,, if there is any left.
Greg looks awesome for his __th birthday and is an awesome guy, I must say. He makess me laugh and has a heart of gold. Happy Birthday Greg! I sure wish he would blog, because he won't even read this :-(

God is so awesome!

Even though this picture of Abbey has nothing to do with my blog, I just had to post it because I just love it. IT's a reminder of summer and how it is pretty much gone.

I just want to praise God in this blog for all the good news I am hearing from friends. It really blesses me to hear good things happening when my friends step out in faith and let God work in their life. My friend back east whom I consider my sister who fell away from God called me tonight and said she went back to church for the first time in along time last week. Already she has joy back in her spirit. She has her masters degree and is working at a diner. She told me she really feels God is humbling her by putting her in this position to see how hard other people have it. The people she is working with are really mean and grumpy, especially her boss. But she is standing strong and sticking with it. My best friend went for counceling today with our pastor for her marriage! I am so thrilled she went because she came back so encouraged. It's gonna be cool to see what God does. Then to hear Stacey got a great job with great hours, pay and even has a backup babysitter for when school is out, a worry she had when she took the job. And the skating ministry that Todd and Stacey are starting.Then Greg gets our mortgage statement and our payment went down $90.00! We just got a car payment so with the cut in mtg pymt our car payment will only be 45.00! Thank you Lord, for being so faithful to us when we fail you daily. When we take a step of faith and reach out and obey you even in baby steps you just blow us away! I pray for all of my friends reading this that you will show yourself mighty in their lives and plans and show them that you are greater than anything in this world and can do abundantly more than we can ever imagine! Turn our hearts and dreams passionatley toward you and your plans for our lives and make us into the people you created us to be. In Jesus Name Amen!
